We now have electronic copies of the Briefs that were filed last friday. Come by the hall and pick up a copy. We can also laod your usb flash drive.

Regular Business Meeting Time Change
At a special called meeting last night (6-5-08) The Membership voted on a by-laws change. Effective immediatly, the regular scheduled business meetings on the 1st and 3rd thursdays each month will now be at 5:00 pm.

We have Electronic copies of the hearing transcripts at the hall. If you would like a cd of these to view on your computer, or you have a usb flash drive, come by the hall and we will load your drive. I have a limited number of cd's right now, but I will be making copies all weekend.

Special Called Meeting
There will be a special called meeting immediately after the regularly scheduled business meeting to discuss and vote on a change in the by-laws changing the regular business meeting time from 7:00 pm to 5:00 pm on the 1st and 3rd thursdays each month.

Special Meeting Reminder and Nomination Details
Notice to Covington Paperworkers Union Local 675 Members
There will be a special meeting after the regular 7:00pm meeting on Thursday, April 10, 2008 to present and vote on the following resolution:
Be it resolved that any member who intends to vote in the upcoming CPU Local 675 officers' election on May 7, 2008 must have a current application on file at the Covington Paperworkers Union Local 675 headquarters at 227 North Maple Avenue, Covington, Virginia no later than the close of business April 17, 2008.
Nomination Details:
Nomination of CPU Local 675 officers will take place on the first, second and third Thursdays in April with the vote being held on Wednesday, May 7, 2008. Anyone wishing to be nominated for office, please stop by headquarters or contact one of the following Nominating Committee members: East Mill- Alvin Koonce, Gary Gumm and Ricky Givens. West Mill- Howard Crush, Gary Bartley and Dan McCallister.
